Education

The field of oncology is rapidly evolving and patients with cancer admitted to the ICU may present with unique issues related to their treatment or underlying disease. As the proportion of patients with cancer admitted to the ICU increases, it is becoming increasingly important for intensivists and oncologists to rapidly recognize and manage these clinical complications.

From an educational standpoint, our aims are twofold: 1) to provide high-quality educational resources to improve bedside care; and 2) to help train clinicians and researchers in this area through our oncologic critical care fellowship.

Educational Resources

To develop and curate educational materials that help bedside clinicians rapidly access information to provide optimal care.

Fellowships

To provide an opportunity for dedicated training in Oncologic Critical Care for physicians who want to make this a central part of their career.
